Clarence Community Volunteer Service – Imagine!

Have you heard of the Clarence Community Volunteer Service?

It connects community volunteers with people aged 18 to 64 years with a disability, and people 65 or older (or those 50 years or older and identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander), who require support to live independently in the City of Clarence.

To help raise the profile of the great work the service does, we developed new promotional material in partnership with those who know it best, people in the community and other organisations!

During this process Journey Film Studios, from Mosaic Support Services, took up the challenge to produce a promotional video that could be used to promote the service.   After researching other advertisements, they decided that they would use humour to capture people’s attention. The result is a great example of the benefits of partnering with others in our community and we look forward to future opportunities to work together.

Enjoy the film, and if you would like to help a person stay connected, or if you want to be connected to your local community, call us on 6217 9630 or email ccvs@ccc.tas.gov

Clarence – an age friendly city and community. Years ahead.
